The formula for happy days is hiding in your morning routine because the best days begin with the better tomorrow. Getting up early and beginning your day with a smile on your face helps you to be ready for all the challenges that are ahead of you that day.
The morning-time, in most cases very stressful and fast, before coming out to face the world is the most valuable time you have throughout your day. And the unfortunate thing is that we’re not even aware of that.
So, correct it today… Or probably tomorrow morning.
Here are 7-morning hacks that can transform your ordinary and normal day in an extremely productive day.
- Get up before everyone
Wake up an hour earlier than usual and get up without delaying the alarm. Kiss your partner (if you have), and go to the kitchen. Pour yourself a glass of fresh water with lemon or sip your cup of favorite coffee and enjoy in silence. Think at least 5 minutes about something pleasant and you’ll feel much better and get more positive.
- Design a menu
Next, to a morning coffee that is the preferred drink of almost every one of us, plan a protein breakfast. Instead of going to a bakery or eating breakfast cereal, choose a healthy breakfast and decide on what your body most suits.
- Do what you like
Every morning you can set aside for 15-20 minutes for a hobby that gives you enjoyment, or a few exercises that will awaken your body, speed up your metabolism and raise the daily energy level. Spend a few minutes meditating, this will result with a clear head and a productive attitude.
- Plan your day
With breakfast or coffee, think about everything that you planned to do throughout that day. You can even record your ideas or put it on a paper so you won’t misremember them. This way, you will be more relaxed, because you will have all the obligations in control and in front of you. You will not think about what the next thing to do, or be stressful about forgetting something important.
- Forget about mobile
I understand that we’re all so addicted to social networks even we won’t admit it, but instead of checking your social networks think about your favorite book. Think about what you are waiting for that day and the virtual world can wait for a lunch break or later when you from your job. Once you start scrolling on your mobile, you will end up scrolling the next few hours. And is it really how you want to begin your day?
- Read a few pages of a book
Reading is very important for your health and mind in general. Start reading something that’s interesting, but also informative. If you don’t have enough time, start with a few pages while drinking your morning coffee.
- Take a walk
If your company is not that far from your home, why not to take a walk. If you’re driving a car, park a little further away from work and take a walk. Enjoy the sun and sunlight, breathe and watch the world around, fill up with positive energy. Isn’t that a perfect start of your day?
