Life sucks? I can understand the fact that disappointment overcomes your desire at some point. It is completely normal to be disappointed in people, things, and actions, but that is still not a quite good reason to say that life sucks. Let us make a review of your life and see how things are going. 

Life sucks? Is it that bad?

Life is not always great and we all know that. It is a constant battle between good and bad, light and darkness, yes or no. To overcome this sad truth we need to consider a lot of things.

Firstly, you need to know the fact that what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger. No matter how hard it is and no matter if everything goes against you, you will survive. It can only make you stronger and smarter person, then you’ve been before. It is ridiculous to say “life sucks” if something bothers you. For me, it is a call inactive form, because when something bothers me I stand up and fight for myself. I have nothing on being a cry about that, I have to fix what makes me sad and unmotivated.

Life sucks – truth behind the curtain 

It’s not that bad, isn’t it? I used to use this “life sucks” phrase a lot. Being disappointed all the time, under the pressure of environment kept me in a dungeon of dark for a while. Desperate to find way out I watched TV Show about kids in Africa struggling their everyday life with finding a food and water. At that point, I realized I was happy. I have a roof over my head, something to eat, drink and life they can’t even imagine. Suddenly all of my problems seemed to be small and I felt the weight of chains breaking of my back. That’s the moment I overpass myself and took it to the next level. I learned something valuable and from that point, it was never the same.

Try stopping for a moment and think about your life, before you say it sucks. Remember, there is always worse condition and nothing is impossible. Be proud of who you are.

What if it happens?

We are all different and I don’t expect anyone to follow my lead. In that case, we are going to discuss other possible solutions when you get crushed by negativity. I will bring you few examples of what you should and should not do.

Stop chasing perfection.

Real perfection doesn’t exist. As soon as you stop seeking perfection you will realize how much weight you’ve been carrying all the time. It is absolutely normal to dream big, chase your dreams but we are not made to be perfect. Chasing perfection just makes our goals heavier to achieve.

It is okay to have a bad day.

As I said before, we are not made to be perfect. Therefore it is okay to have a bad day. No matter how hard you try, sometimes, a bad day is going to be a bad day and it’s totally okay. The moment you realize you’re having an irreparable day, think about mistakes you could make and try to avoid doing that. Try to avoid interacting with people, unless if they can make your day better. Happiness is the key.

Let it out, work it out!

If you have someone to talk about it, someone who is going to actually listen to you and help you with advice, you are a lucky person. Sometimes you just need to talk and let it out. In another scenario, you can record yourself on your mobile phone. That way you let it out and you can listen to it later to see that it was not a big deal.

..or you can work it out! You can go out for a walk or go to the gym. It is highly recommended to workout when you’re having a bad day because you manage to work it out plus you get an extra bonus for doing a good thing for your body.

Tomorrow is the new day.

Don’t forget that this condition is temporary and tomorrow is the new day. People usually get stuck in negative thoughts without any good reason. Stop for a minute, think about the problem that makes you feel that way and say to yourself it’s not going to last forever. There is a dawn beneath the darkness of night. Try to pull out the best lessons from the problem. You will beat the problem and make sure it never happens to you again.

My advice is simple. Make it simple for you, cause if you don’t want to do it, don’t expect from other to make it for you. Always keep in mind that there is a lot of worse things that could happen to you at the moment. Forget about a problem for a minute and think about every possible solution that you have. You are strong enough to overcome any obstacle and don’t you ever forget about that.
